研究方向及领域：

主要研究震源参数和区域构造应力场：包括高精度震源深度测定、中小地震破裂方向性研究、震源机制解反演以及，使用应变格林张量数据库方法，实现三维地球模型中快速反演震源破裂过程；此外，使用震源机制解来反演区域构造应力场的二维空间变化、随深度变化以及随时间变化，探讨强震发震断层在三维空间的构造应力背景； 

目前承担的科研项目（课题）：

－自然科学基金面上项目,“基于三维速度模型的汶川地震中强余震震源破裂模型研究”,64万,主持；

－地震科学联合基金,“川滇地区构造应力场与强震活动关系研究”,35万,子课题负责人。
